Creatrix created a coherent look for The Centre across all communication products to reflect their refreshed strategic plan and visual identity.

 

We wanted to surface the core values of their work and so began to declutter visual elements and patterns that were previously used. This embarked us on our search for an elegant and approachable look that would appeal to a larger audience and showcase their range of work. In practical cases, practitioners can now easily approach anyone and convey to them all about who The Centre is in a simple and cohesive manner.

 

In the end, we’ve created a professional presence for The Centre that doesn’t forget to add a touch of playfulness with the child and youth in mind.

One of our main challenges was to create a cohesive design for their wide range of report types and topics, and at the same time create a unique experience to make each of them memorable.

 

Our solution was to use icons that can be changed according to the report’s topic. We created a set of icons from which the author can select as needed. The white space creates a soothing tone that complements their branding colors. This also allows flexibility for longer titles.

In keeping it simple, we’ve removed any imposing or overly ambitious visual elements and focused on creating a pleasant reading experience. Distractions were kept away from the content, and an atmosphere for the topic in discussion and brand identity has been solidified.
